This scroll comes with an appraised Double Box by Kono Seiko 幸野西湖 (1881-1945). Kono Seiko is a painter and the second son of Kono Bairei.

幸野楳嶺 Kono Bairei (1844-1895)
Born in Kyoto, Japan, he studied under Nakajima Raisho 中島来章 and Shiokawa Bunrin 塩川文麟. He specializes in flower-and-bird paintings.

with signature 'Bairei ho' 楳嶺豊 and seal 'Koho no in' 幸豊之印 'Shijun' 思順
